Ben Glass

Ben is the person who makes sure every smart home works exactly the way it's supposed to. As MediaHead's Lead Service Technician & Programmer, he spends his days fine-tuning systems, solving complex challenges, and making technology feel effortless. His favorite moment is handing everything over to the client and watching them experience their new home for the first time.

His path into the industry wasn't exactly planned. After being laid off from the oil and gas industry in 2016, Ben took a part-time job at Best Buy while figuring out his next move. Instead, he discovered a passion for home technology and never looked back.

When he's not programming smart homes, you'll probably find him tackling another home improvement project or hanging out with his two Pembroke Welsh Corgis. He also spent years as an avid rock climber and still hopes to get back to it someday.

As for the one piece of technology he couldn't live without? Smart lighting. Ben transformed his own home with Lutron lighting, and he's a firm believer that the right lighting can change everything—from productivity during the day to winding down at night.
