Steve Harman

Steve has always liked building things, solving puzzles, and figuring out how all the pieces fit together. As a kid, that meant countless hours with LEGOs. These days, the projects are a little bigger. As Co-Owner & Chief Innovator at MediaHead, Steve can move from business development and system design to problem-solving and big-picture planning, sometimes all before lunch. What he enjoys most is watching an idea on paper become a finished system that genuinely improves the way a client lives or works.

His first technology job involved selling digital phone service and dial-up internet door to door, which taught him two things: he loved working with people, and he was pretty good at helping them solve frustrating technology problems. Those early days eventually grew into a career built around both. Steve especially enjoys getting to know homeowners, builders, architects, designers, and other business owners, swapping ideas and finding ways to help one another succeed.

When he’s not working, Steve is usually spending time with his wife and two boys, preferably somewhere away from a screen. Camping, family road trips, mountain biking, tennis, working out, live music, movies, and traveling are all in the rotation. He may enjoy unplugging, but he’ll admit his phone is the one piece of technology he’d have a hard time giving up.

And then there are the wigs. Yes, Steve has a wig collection. Considering he’s bald, he prefers to think of it as keeping his hairstyle options open.

Patient, resourceful, and genuine, Steve has never lost the curiosity that made him want to take things apart, put them together, and see what he could build next.
